As a pioneering force in the field of health and safety, we are seeking an accomplished Health and Safety Specialist to spearhead our newly built Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) in Redbank, Queensland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our Operations team, ensuring the delivery of a safe and healthy workplace. As the site's Subject Matter Expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic health, safety, and wellbeing objectives, performance targets, and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing our SafetyCARE systems
  • Conducting audits
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders
  • Regulatory engagement
  • Investigating incidents
  • Supporting the health and safety committee
  • Safety coaching and contractor support
  • Emergency management

You will work closely with our team, including those specializing in injury management and team member training, to deliver best-in-class outcomes.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Extensive experience in a senior safety leadership role
  • A strong background working in operational FMCG distribution centres, manufacturing, or automated environments
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing strategic plans
  • Proven ability to drive and support change within teams
  • Technical expertise and coaching skills across various operational levels
  • Leadership and audit experience
  • Degree preference in safety or legal related disciplines
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
