Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to join our team at Lightning Broadband. As a Telecommunications Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality telecommunications projects.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires the management of end-to-end delivery of complex telecommunications initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead meetings among project stakeholders
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities
  • Handle administrative tasks for Project Director to keep the project running smoothly
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to defined scope and to budget
  • Identify, assess project risks and issues and dependencies, and provide solutions where applicable
  • Coordinate and negotiate quotations for projects
  • Ensure project information data is current (i.e. project status and schedule updates) and project documentation into project management technology tool
  • Manage internal and external project stakeholders (e.g. builders, electrical contractors, external contractors, service consultants, developers, suppliers, etc.)
  • Provide clear communication of project status and performance to stakeholders, providing regular updates and escalating concerns as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and efficiencies
  • Provide support to other team members as mutually agreed and as required
  • Conduct site inspections and documentation

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex telecommunications projects from initiation to completion
  • Excellent project management skills / project planning expertise, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, and strong communication and stakeholder management, with capability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with Telecommunications knowledge
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools and methodologies
  • Thorough understanding of telecommunications industry standards, regulations and best practices
  • Demonstrated working knowledge & experience in using AUTOCAD
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience
