Key Role: Project Officer

The role of Project Officer is a critical one in the Infrastructure & Major Projects Department. The successful candidate will play a vital part in managing the delivery of the Council's annual Civil Infrastructure Capital Works Program.

This involves working on the renewal of roads, footpaths, kerbs and gutters throughout the city. The project officer will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.

The role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, colleagues and external partners. A tertiary qualification in civil engineering, project management or a related field would be highly regarded.
