Our organisation is seeking a seasoned Compliance professional to join our esteemed Global Compliance and Risk function as the Regional Head of Compliance. This pivotal leadership role will guide a team of exceptional regional compliance professionals in mitigating regulatory risk and ensuring robust, adaptable, and effective compliance arrangements.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of regulatory compliance experience with an OTC derivatives issuer, including AML/CTF experience across multiple regions and over 2 years of managing a team. They will also possess strong understanding of compliance management principles, industry best practice, and licensing regimes in jurisdictions such as Australia, Dubai, Kenya, and Bahamas.

As a strategic thinker and effective communicator, the Regional Head of Compliance will foster a responsive, pragmatic, and commercially astute approach that aligns seamlessly with our strategic objectives and risk appetite. They will champion a culture of compliance throughout the organisation and collaborate closely with commercial stakeholders to ensure consistent standards and best practices in compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of regulatory compliance experience with an OTC derivatives issuer (CFD's, leveraged FX)
  • AML/CTF experience in the financial services industry across multiple regions
  • Over 2 years of managing a team
  • Strong understanding of compliance management principles and industry best practice
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations in multiple jurisdictions
