About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic professional to deliver exceptional care and support services to our clients.

As a Medication Qualified Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene support, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support.
  • Promote independence among clients by encouraging them to participate in activities that enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Establish positive relationships with clients through effective communication, active listening, and understanding their individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and report any changes or concerns regarding the client's health or wellbeing promptly to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.
  • Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations related to social care practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support qualification (or related field) is preferred but not required; Nursing and Medical students encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience working in the social care industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable registered vehicle and insurance.
  • Australian Federal Police Check (or willing to obtain one).
  • Covid-19 Fully vaccinated.

Work Requirements:

  • Casual position with flexible working hours, Monday to Friday, part time hours or at least 3 days per week.
