Senior Academic Lecturer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced lecturer in psychology to join our team. The successful candidate will lead unit teaching teams in undergraduate programs, focusing on cross-cultural and indigenous psychology.
The lecturer will chair the second-year elective unit in cross-cultural and indigenous psychology, deliver online lectures, and face-to-face seminars. They will be responsible for managing staff within the unit with teaching and marking responsibilities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead unit teaching teams and work collaboratively with other unit teaching teams to develop effective unit curricula and learning resources.
- Adept innovation in curriculum design at the unit level and deliver learner-centric, research-informed teaching practices across different levels/modes of delivery.
- Design collaborative learning opportunities at the unit level and support diverse learners by designing accessible and inclusive unit material and practices.
To Be Successful
- You'll need a PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.
- An excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in undergraduate programs, including innovative curriculum design.
- An emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
