This position plays a pivotal role in the efficient manufacturing team, reporting to the General Manager. The Operations / Production Planner will be responsible for diligent management of production schedules to meet production forecasts and customer indicated lead times.
Key Responsibilities:- The successful candidate will develop and manage production schedules to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Utilizing and updating SAP database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Effective communication with customers regarding orders and delivery timelines to maintain strong relationships.
- Coordinating product packaging and shipping processes to meet customer expectations.
- MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS PLANNING: A critical aspect of this role is ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
- Liaise with Production and Technical staff to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Extensive planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing, preferably in an Australian setting.
- Strong communication and competent IT skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Hold full Australian work rights to ensure seamless integration into the team.
- Pursue a permanent full-time employment opportunity with a reputable recruitment agency.
