Job Description

This position plays a pivotal role in the efficient manufacturing team, reporting to the General Manager. The Operations / Production Planner will be responsible for diligent management of production schedules to meet production forecasts and customer indicated lead times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will develop and manage production schedules to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Utilizing and updating SAP database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Effective communication with customers regarding orders and delivery timelines to maintain strong relationships.
  • Coordinating product packaging and shipping processes to meet customer expectations.
  • MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS PLANNING: A critical aspect of this role is ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
  • Liaise with Production and Technical staff to foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Extensive planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing, preferably in an Australian setting.
  • Strong communication and competent IT skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Hold full Australian work rights to ensure seamless integration into the team.
