Lead Mental Health Inpatient Unit Manager

The Mental Health Nurse Unit Manager position at a private psychiatric facility requires a registered nurse with 5 years of inpatient mental health experience.
Responsibilities- Provide operational direction to ensure efficient and effective management of the unit.
- Coordinate the delivery of evidence-based nursing care.
- Ensure excellent patient- and family-centered care in a team-focused environment.
- Guide, mentor, and support the team.
- Manage human, financial, and material resources effectively.
- Undertake direct patient care as required.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Registered nurse with at least 5 years' experience in inpatient mental health settings, including knowledge of NSQHS/ACHS standards.
- Understanding of HoNOS.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to foster positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of labor management.
- Understanding of private health funding requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to high standards of clinical and customer-focused care.
- High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office and databases.
