Lead Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to lead our inpatient mental health facility.
The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and operational management of the ward, ensuring efficient and effective fiscal management and promoting high quality clinical care for patients.
As a key member of our hospital's management team, you will support the Director of Nursing and General Manager while providing leadership to your unit.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Registered Nurse with at least 5 years' experience in inpatient mental health settings
- Knowledge of NSQHS/ACHS Standards
- Understanding of HoNOS
- Proven ability to build and lead high performing teams with a service excellence approach
- Demonstrated capacity to foster positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrate expertise in labor management
- Understand private health funding requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to delivering high standards of clinical and customer focused care
- High level of computer literacy including MS office and various databases
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
