Enhance Social Impact with Disability Inclusion Workshops
About the RoleWe are seeking a Facilitator with lived experience of disability to deliver world-class workshops to school-aged students in Sydney and surrounding areas.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative workshops on disability inclusion, promoting social benefit in society.
- Built and maintain successful relationships with schools to ensure continued partnerships and gather valuable feedback.
- Achieve key performance indicators related to workshop quality and evaluation feedback.
- Represent the organization as an outstanding brand ambassador.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Knowledge and Understanding: Living with a disability, including sharing personal stories to underpin the message of social inclusion.
- Presentation and Teaching Experience: Previous experience in presenting, teaching, educating or performing, ideally to school-age groups.
- Engagement and Motivation: Ability to engage, inspire and motivate school-aged audiences through face-to-face and digital mediums.
- Content Retention: Willingness to learn and retain content for presentations.
This is a casual role with expected weekly hours around 15, worked over 3 days per week, primarily during school term time. The organization is open to discussing adjustments required to support the needs of the successful candidate.
