We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Group Audit and Assurance team as a Planning and Performance Lead - Audit Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of our audit strategy, ensuring that our risk management and governance practices are aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate key processes, including Annual Audit Planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Plan Change impact analysis, resource optimization, monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish business commitments and outcomes, ensuring that our audit practices are aligned with business objectives.
- Track and communicate progress against committed objectives and key results, leveraging data-driven insights to review and challenge delivery status and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Prepare management reporting, including performance and status monitoring, and demonstrate exceptional written communication skills to prepare quality papers for the Board Audit Committee.
- Review and maintain data quality and documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Proactively drive continuous improvement, facilitating retros and driving prioritized improvement plans, and support the implementation of audit tooling to drive improved delivery and performance.
- Experience in driving strategy, planning, and prioritization, and advanced resource management.
- Advanced project and/or portfolio management skills, including Agile and other approaches.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience in internal audit and risk management, preferably working for a global financial services company.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, collaborative solutions focus, innovative mindset, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience in driving change, including process, system, behaviors, and culture.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate effective decision making and engage senior stakeholders.
