Job Description:

We seek a seasoned professional to join our Environmental Health team as an experienced coordinator. The role involves conducting regular inspections of licensed premises, providing guidance and support to direct reports, and managing health-related complaints.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Health or equivalent qualifications, considerable experience as an Environmental Health Officer, and excellent customer service skills.

They will also have experience in supervision, training, mentoring, and coaching staff to achieve efficient public and environmental health services, manage and investigate complaints, and provide expert advice to the community and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality public and environmental health services
  • Manage and investigate health-related complaints
  • Provide detailed assessments of development applications
  • Offer expert advice to the community and stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will require:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Health or equivalent qualifications
  • Considerable experience as an Environmental Health Officer
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience in supervision, training, mentoring, and coaching staff
Benefits:

This is a permanent full-time position with access to flexible work arrangements, commencing salary range from $98,485 – $104,514 per annum, and benefits including access to a leaseback vehicle, 11.5% superannuation, and employee benefits programs.
