Community Engagement Officer Role

Transport for NSW is seeking a Community and Customer Engagement Officer to join the community branch in the Illawarra Region of NSW, based in Wollongong.

This role will assist with the delivery of communication and stakeholder engagement services across the Princes Highway Upgrade program. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing communication strategies, coordinating public information releases, and providing support for events and community consultation activities.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to build rapport and develop strong stakeholder relations, and have a tertiary qualification in media, communications, public relations or relevant discipline.

They will also have high-level problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritise a busy workload, and strong attention to detail.
