About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished leader to head our national Substations & Transmission business across Australia. This is a key role in our Energy & Resources business line, incorporating Energy Transition across both disciplines (Substations & Transmission) with clients in both the public and private sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountability for the profitability and operational success of the Substations & Transmission business unit
  • Leading the development of proposals and building and managing a team with specialist capabilities for best practice delivery
  • Collaborating with colleagues in Europe and Asia as well as North & South America to bolster our offering in Australia and bring the best in class to our clients
  • Using commercial acumen to continue to grow our brand and manage resources and capabilities to ensure outstanding client care
About You

We are looking for someone with a strong track record in technical leadership, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills. You will also bring with you:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills
  • Well established client networks across various Energy Markets. Transmission Authorities and large constructors an advantage
  • Solid client management and business development skills
  • Experience in leading a business unit or a profit center within a consulting services environment an advantage
  • Well-developed commercial skills, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, and experience of taking commercial responsibility for major projects and businesses
  • Experienced in leading teams from varied backgrounds and cultures
  • Relevant degree, ideally with Chartered status or equivalent professional experience
  • Accreditations and registrations such as RPEV, RPEQ, NER or CPEng an advantage
