The role of Deputy Director for Administration and Coordination is a pivotal position within the centralised staff and course administration functions for courses conducted across the Australian Defence College.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting to senior leaders, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing international and Australian students.
- This leadership role involves overseeing a dynamic team of administrative officers, ensuring effective management of tasks and resources.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in international student management, working closely with Course Directors and Policy Divisions.
- Responsibilities include managing student administration and course support functions, including study tours, travel, finance, and onboarding throughout the academic year.
- This role requires strategic planning and oversight of shared facilities at Weston Creek on behalf of the Senior ADF Officer.
The team supports the Australian Defence College, providing administrative services across various course activities, such as facilities management, travel coordination, purchasing, and records management.
The successful candidate will be a high-performing individual with strong initiative and ability to work independently. They will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to review and adjust work activities to meet competing business requirements.
