Job Title: Haematology Clinical Trial Nurse Consultant

St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haematology Clinical Trial Nurse Consultant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed-term position (12 months) that will provide specialized clinical and research coordination to support staff in the planning, delivery of treatment and ongoing management of patients on clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical support, instruction and mentoring for nurses with regard to nursing assessments and interventions for patients on clinical trials.
  • Support the delivery of patient and family education to enhance understanding of the aims, expectations, and procedures for therapeutic agents they are receiving.
  • Establish and maintain resources and guidelines that support nursing staff with patient education.
  • Collaborate with the Haematology Clinical Research Centre to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe and cohesive care to patients undergoing Haematology clinical trials.
Requirements
  • Current National criminal history check.
  • Classification for this position is ZJ4 - ($113,646 per annum).
