
Data Record Specialist

Data and Records Officer is responsible for managing the lifecycle of records, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and easily accessible.
The ideal candidate will have experience with records management systems and knowledge of records management concepts and best practices.
A strong understanding of data quality principles and a keen eye for detail is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and classify records eligible for destruction or retention
- Liaise with offsite storage providers to ensure efficient record management
- Develop and implement processes for tracking and verifying destruction requests
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of record management workflows
- Practical experience working with records management systems and knowledge of records management concepts and best practices
- Prior exposure to records management and archiving projects, including quality assurance practices to ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Experience with spreadsheets (intermediate) and establishing processes for analysing, reporting and filtering large quantities of information that can be presented in logical ways
- Strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to recognise and question anomalies and investigate issues
