Senior Valuation Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Financial Services team in valuations. This role involves providing expert advice on valuation matters, including transactions, portfolio assessment, restructuring, and strategic planning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough valuations of businesses and intangible assets for various purposes, such as management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting, and disputes.
  • Manage and prepare detailed valuation reports, complex financial modeling, and analysis.
  • Develop and implement strategies related to the advice provided, considering commercial, financial reporting, tax, regulatory, and strategy factors.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess extensive experience in valuation within the Financial Services sector.
  • Hold a degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Must have a CFA credential or be actively pursuing one.
  • Have direct experience utilizing various valuation techniques and methodologies, such as market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc.

Preferred Attributes:

  • A CA qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
  • Ability to continually develop themselves and others.
