About the Interior Design Role

We're seeking a skilled and creative Interior Designer to join our Architecture & Interiors team. This hands-on position involves working across all stages of design, from early concept development through to technical documentation and delivery.

You'll collaborate closely with our creative team and clients to bring spaces to life, particularly in retail and customer experience environments. We need someone passionate about design who is also technically skilled and confident managing both creative and practical aspects of a project.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Documentation
- Develop innovative and relevant design concepts based on client briefs
- Prepare space planning, design presentations, and mood boards
- Produce detailed design documentation, drawings, and specifications for construction
- Work across all project phases, ensuring seamless execution
- Ensure all documentation meets quality standards and aligns with design intent

Client Engagement
- Understand client needs, business objectives, and project requirements
- Support and lead client presentations and design discussions
- Assist in documenting meeting notes, decisions, and next steps
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through clear and professional communication

Team Collaboration & Culture
- Work closely with senior designers, design directors, and the studio team
- Be proactive, open to feedback, and collaborative in your approach
- Contribute positively to studio culture – supportive, inclusive, and creatively ambitious
- Stay curious and engaged in design trends, materials, and technologies

Technical Skills & Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in interior design or interior architecture (retail or experiential design experience a bonus)
- Strong design sensibility, proficient in key design software
- Excellent documentation and detailing skills
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and technical drawing standards
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
