An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled interior designer to join our design and construction team.

The Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced interior designer to lead the successful design and documentation of all projects, including DA approval and tendering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver projects within scope, budget, and time frame.
  • Maintain close relationships with clients and other stakeholders to discuss project needs.
  • Utilize computer applications/design software to create models and visuals.
  • Research and develop plans, diagrams or sketches for interior constructions, materials, finishes, lighting, and furnishing.
  • Select suppliers of materials and finishes.
  • Conceptualize and sketch design plans.
  • Ensure project documentation and administration is set up completely.
  • Lead, mentor, and upskill the team.

You will be someone who has commercial fit-out project experience. You enjoy working collaboratively and can work across various projects.

  • 6+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in interior design or relevant field.
  • Australian experience and knowledge of local building codes.
  • Proficient in softwares including ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, or Revit.
  • Experience in commercial fitouts, specifically workplace.
  • Must have full Australian working rights.
Requirements
  • Skillful interior designer with 6+ years experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in interior design or relevant field.
  • Australian experience and knowledge of local building codes.
  • Proficient in industry-standard softwares.
  • Commercial fitout experience.
  • Australian working rights.
