Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist to join our Technology Security Team. In this role, you will work closely with various business teams to develop and implement effective strategies for ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential compliance risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Risk Mitigation Strategies: Assist in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, controls, and procedures to minimize exposure to compliance-related risks.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular monitoring to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including reviewing processes, procedures, and practices within the organisation.
  • Audit Support: Support compliance audits and investigations by assisting in the planning, execution, and follow-up activities, including conducting analysis and monitoring corrective actions to address identified non-compliance issues.
  • Communication: Communicate compliance requirements and expectations to employees, provide guidance on compliance-related matters, and serve as a resource for compliance-related inquiries.

About You:

We are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity laws, regulations, and industry standards, as well as strong analytical thinking and communication skills. Your experience as a Compliance Specialist in the retail and/or telecommunications industry will be highly valued.
