Territory Sales Professional

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our Companion Animal team. This is a permanent, full-time role with competitive remuneration and benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Veterinarians, Vet Nurses, Store Managers, and wholesalers;
  2. Providing expert advice and training to customers, ensuring they fully understand and can effectively communicate the benefits of our products;
  3. Utilising customer insights and data to tailor your approach and deliver value-driven solutions;
  4. Presenting and promoting products through corporate sales presentations, customer visits, and industry events;
  5. Handling customer inquiries professionally, including pricing queries, compliance issues, and product complaint investigations;
  6. Collaborating with internal teams across sales, marketing, and technical services to support customer needs and business success;
  7. Maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge to remain competitive and provide informed recommendations to customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A tertiary degree in business or science (preferred);
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within sales or account management;
  • The ability to build and nurture strong relationships with customers;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and engaging manner;
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently;
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive customer engagement;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using digital tools such as an iPad;
  • High level of resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, ensuring timely responses to customer needs.
