Civil Infrastructure Project Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in designing and managing complex civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage systems, and mining facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the design process for selected projects or components of projects, ensuring the integrity of the overall design.
  • Provide technical advice on all aspects of civil design, including bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, constructability, and interfaces with other disciplines.
  • Maintain effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • Direct the project team and promote awareness of technical and commercial risk assessments/mitigation.
  • Mentor junior engineers, designers, and drafters and guide them in delivery and professional development.
  • Check design drawings and models to ensure alignment with applicable standards and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in civil engineering delivering resource and infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen with proven experience of managing and delivering design solutions.
  • Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery and collaboration with all key engineering disciplines.
  • Collaborative approach and appreciation for teamwork.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, quality, and improving service for clients.
  • High attention to detail, good analytical and communication skills.
  • Capacity to lead and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
  • Previous experience across roads, drainage, and pads for mining infrastructure and facilities.
  • Experience in preparing engineering calculations and checking design drawings and models.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
