About This Opportunity

We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as Market Risk Transformation Manager. As a key member of our risk management function, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the bank has a robust framework for managing market risk.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders to develop analytical models that support effective risk measurement. You'll also be responsible for leading the development of risk reporting, including providing insights to identify high and emerging risks.

  • Leadership: Contribute to the day-to-day operations of your team, providing ongoing advice and guidance to ensure successful delivery of risk-related projects.
  • Quantitative Modelling and Analytics: Develop, document and maintain market risk models to support accurate risk measurement, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Reporting: Produce and contribute to risk reporting as required for regulators, boards, committees, executive management and leadership teams.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive continuous improvement by challenging yourself and others to deliver better outcomes.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through professional networks, education and training.

Key Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Essential experience in a similar risk role within the financial services sector.
  • A strong understanding of quantitative modelling and analytics, with expertise in developing models to measure market risk.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
