Market Risk Insights Analyst Role

We're seeking a Market Risk Insights Analyst to contribute to our transformation into a digital bank.

This exciting opportunity involves developing insights and identifying trends in key drivers of risk and profit and loss, enabling informed decision making. As part of a small team, you will build, maintain and take ownership of management reporting to understand movements and trends and identify potential hazards associated with risk.

About the Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting, oversight and challenge of market risk exposures, model validation and functional ownership of market risk policies. You'll develop models that drive business value and enable data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining management reports to understand market risk exposures and trends.
  • Identifying potential hazards associated with risk and providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication of market risk insights and developments.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A keen interest in Market Risk, Treasury, Financial Markets or Product Control.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills and VBA writing ability.
  • Awareness of and interest in financial markets.
  • A bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, mathematics, economics or other related field.
