
National Account Development Manager

A career opportunity exists for a National Account Development Manager to join our team based in Head Office. This role will involve managing, developing and growing existing national accounts and identifying new opportunities.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced business development professional who can utilise our CRM database to bring new initiatives to the business that will maximise profitability and ensure long-term viability.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain engagement with existing customers and actively seek new business opportunities
- Maintain the CRM with opportunities and quotations regularly
- Analysis and timely reporting on sales trends, competitive actions, internal intelligence and competitor actions
- Ensure branches are appropriately servicing existing national account customer needs
- Build, foster and retain good working relations with all key decision-makers internally and externally to the business
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of the material handling business and products
- Minimum five years experience in a sales-focused position
- Highly developed sales and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and maintain a proactive call plan
