Job Opportunity:

This is a challenging and demanding role for an aspiring intensivist, providing the opportunity to develop skills in critical care research, education, supervision and administration.

The clinical aspect will comprise a mix of shifts undertaken on the consultant roster and senior registrar shifts, including on-call duties and assigned non-clinical hours. This will allow increasing clinical autonomy and the development of essential skills in intensive care.

As a Transition Fellow, you will have the chance to practice first on-call with support from an experienced consultant and participate in a comprehensive teaching program for ICU trainees.

The hospital's Intensive Care Unit is a state-of-the-art facility providing care for almost 3000 patients per year and one of the biggest ICUs in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
