High-Intensity Care Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care specialist to provide high-intensity support for two children aged 11 and 13.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in intensive care, including PEG feeding, oxygen management, and medication management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the children with daily activities, such as dressing and preparing for school
  • Providing transportation to and from school using a supplied van
  • Managing medication and oxygen therapy as required
  • Maintaining accurate records of the children's care and progress

Responsibilities also include working closely with the family to ensure the children's needs are met while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Completed Certificate IV in Disability
  • NDIS worker orientation module certificate of completion
  • First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Experience in intensive care, including PEG feeding, oxygen management, and medication management

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of these two amazing children.

The successful applicant will work approximately 40 hours per week over five days, with morning shifts commencing at 7:30 am and afternoon shifts starting at 1:30 pm.
