Job Title: Payroll Project Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Payroll Project Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving business growth.

About the Role:

This role involves working closely with our HR and payroll teams to ensure the successful delivery of payroll transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for assisting with the finalisation and validation of long service leave entitlements, supporting remediation activities, preparing reports, and contributing to payroll compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the finalisation and validation of long service leave entitlements
  • Supporting remediation activities, including correction of balances and back payment processing
  • Preparing reports, data, and recommendations for payroll and system managers
  • Contributing to payroll compliance initiatives and supporting Fair Work / Industrial Relations requirements
  • Assisting with process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations
  • Working within project frameworks (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of payroll transformation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll projects, ideally in remediation, compliance, or leave management
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, entitlements, and Australian legislation
  • Experience working in project environments, including reporting and documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work remotely while collaborating effectively with key stakeholders
