UGL Regional Linx operates and maintains the NSW Country Regional Network (CRN).

We are currently seeking an experienced Rail Industry Specialist to join our team in Dubbo, NSW.

Your Role as a Rail Industry Specialist

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing major and minor plant and vehicles. This includes operating Track Machines when required, conducting regular servicing of plant as per the Technical Maintenance Plan or OEM guidelines, renewing filters and fluids, replacing belts and batteries, responding to breakdowns with field repairs, and supervising contractors during major repairs and overhauls.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication skills, the ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and follow-through within a fast-paced operational environment with multiple and competing demands.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience

Certificate III in Plant Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics and Auto Electrics or similar

Hold a current RIW card

White card

Class C Driver's licence essential (HR preferred)
