Animal Attendant Role

Care for boarding and daycare pets in a fast-paced environment, feeding, grooming, enrichment, health checks, and maintaining facility hygiene and safety.

About the Role
  • Fulfill animal care responsibilities including feeding, grooming, and providing enrichment activities
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of facilities to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Perform health checks on animals and provide general husbandry care
  • Supervise dogs and manage their behavior to maintain overall wellbeing and safety
  • Provide exercise and enrichment to pets
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners at drop-off and pick-up
Requirements
  • Available for holiday and weekend shifts
  • Physically fit with ability to work indoors and outdoors with animals of all sizes
  • Previous experience in animal care, pet retail, or veterinary clinics an advantage
  • Qualifications in Animal Studies or Companion Animal Services beneficial but not essential
  • Own transportation required due to remote location
  • Excellent communication skills with friendly, professional approach to customer service
  • Reliable team player with ability to work independently when needed
  • Committed to working safely and following instructions, policies, and procedures
