Years of experience in GP nursing and looking to branch out into something new? ARH Canberra are looking for Full-time or Part-time nurses to work with us in the exciting world of Emergency and Critical Care, and you could be a perfect fit You will work alongside Medicine & surgical specialists and access to a Rehabilitation department for patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide nursing care to critically ill and injured patients 
  • Collaborate with our skilled veterinary team to deliver timely and effective emergency treatments
  • Monitor patients closely, administer medications, and assist with medical procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
  • Offer support and guidance to pet owners during stressful situations

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster
  • A passion for continuous education and upskilling
