**About the Roles**

**4 Casual Pet Care Attendant positions and 1 Casual Pet Hotel Receptionist position is available working 3-4 shifts per week approx 15-25 hours each week**

**Pet Care Attendants**

**We are seeking **energetic animal care superstars **for our **Canberra Pet Hotel **. Key accountabilities of the role include animal welfare, cleaning, customer service. You will be responsible for the quality of **pet welfare **and providing care for both boarding pet guests which includes **cleaning **kennels, **feeding **pets, basic washing/ **grooming **and **exercising **of pets. Our Petcare/Animal Attendants also provide excellent customer service when engaging with our clients at pick up and drop off on reception.**

**About You**

**You are **reliable **, motivated and **experienced **in caring for animals, with genuine affection for cats and dogs.**

**To be a high performer in this role **, you will be**:

- **Certified in animal studies and/or companion animal services and/or experienced working in **vet clinics, doggy daycares, kennels or catteries **(preferred)**
- **Available to work during the school holidays and on weekends, with flexibility to work extra shifts during the school holidays**
- **Available for rotating rostered shifts, and **flexibility **to occasionally cover other unplanned absences at short notice**
- **Prepared to jump at the chance to help others in your team**
- **Able to **work at a brisk pace **and carry out tasks to required timeframes**
- **Able to work independently yet under guidance as needed**
- **Strongly passionate about companion animals**
- **A good communicator and positive person who enjoys **teamwork**
- **Committed to working safely, and following Standard Operating Procedures**
- **Willing and able to adhere to Hanrob Pet Hotels' operating procedures and work health and safety requirements at all times**

**_This is a physically-demanding role which requires a significant amount of walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, restraining, bending, kneeling, squatting and being on your feet for most of your shift. _**

**Pet Hotel Receptionist**

**This role ensures customers feel nurtured and confident in our ability to care for their **furry family members **. Meeting and greeting pets & their owners, **running front-of-house **reception and general **administration duties and data entry **. Managing the phones to take bookings and answer **telephone enquiries **, Providing excellent customer service and continually finding ways of improving the **customer experience **as well as Maintaining high quality guest services, during arrivals & departures and keeping owners up to date during their pet's stay.**

**About You**

**You are **reliable **, motivated and **experienced in customer service **, with genuine affection for dogs & cats.**
- **Customer service and or reception experience**:

- **Prepared to jump at the chance to help others in your team; Pitching in with general duties to help out the rest of the Hotel Team when things get busy, including cleaning, occasional cat cuddles and dog pats, to ensure a wonderful experience for our customers (owners and pets)**:

- **Administration skills and a strong attention to detail**:

- **Experience receipting payments, ringing up sales and confirming reservations**:

- **Able to work independently yet under guidance as needed**:

- **A good communicator and positive person who enjoys teamwork**:
