Rural Fire Systems Strategist

This role involves leading the development, delivery, and maintenance of business systems and services that support rural fire staff and volunteers.
The successful candidate will have a strong focus on strategic advice to senior executives, overseeing third-party vendors, and managing unit functions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver business solutions that meet operational needs of rural fire capability and volunteers.
- Continuously improve critical systems such as geographical information systems and event response coordination.
- Provide strategic guidance on major ICT and information management systems.
- Oversee external support vendors to ensure contractual agreements are met.
- Develop strategies to enhance user experience for RFS staff and volunteers.
