
Rural Fire Brigade Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Fire Management Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting rural fire brigades across the state.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and support local brigades, fire wardens, and key stakeholders with their inquiries.
- Conduct training programs in a geographic area, focusing on fire management and response plans, and day-to-day activities in line with departmental policy and strategy.
- Develop volunteer members and fire wardens to ensure the effectiveness of operations, provide advice, guidance, and input into operational and strategic plans, training plans, and conduct audits inline with departmental procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with departmental policies and procedures.
