About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nursing professional to take on a leadership role within our organisation.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ongoing design, planning, development, implementation, and management of nursing workforce strategies.
  • Provide high-level advice to other nursing directors and the executive team.
  • Develop and implement effective advanced level leadership, management, and organisational skills.
  • Negotiate, influence, and gain support from appropriate people to reach patient care-focused solutions and organisational outcomes.
  • Manage change and support all team members through the implementation of change initiatives.
  • Expertly manage human, financial, and material resources.
  • Lead clinical units in the development, implementation, and evaluation of systems and processes ensuring quality evidence-informed nursing care.
What We're Looking For
  • A nursing qualification from a registered tertiary institution or completion of an approved hospital training program as a Registered Nurse.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate.
  • Possession of context-specific postgraduate qualification in nursing is highly desirable.
