Director of Nursing Services

Job Description:

As a seasoned nursing leader, you will drive collaboration, respect, and a passion for helping others in our nursing team. You will make a difference every day by delivering high-quality care with a personal touch and encouraging residents to enjoy life to the fullest.

  • Provide leadership, direction, and administration of day-to-day operations associated with direct patient care

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel
  • Guide staffing procedures and set objectives for the nursing department
  • Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures
  • Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
  • Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed by completing performance improvement plans
  • Manage record-keeping procedures and collaborate with other departments and professionals

Qualifications:

  • Maintains a current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • A passion for working with seniors and driving positive change
  • 1+ years of nursing management experience in long-term care
  • Excellent ability to lead, develop, and motivate personnel
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Outstanding organizational and stress management skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and decision-making

Requirements:

  • Current/unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors
  • Experience tracking, trending, and analyzing infection control and other clinical data
