Director of Nursing Services

The Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Nursing Director to lead the operational and professional management of nursing services within the organization.
This leadership role requires advanced knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and standards across various nursing services.
Demonstrated ongoing professional development, relevant postgraduate qualifications, and comprehensive analytical skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities- Design, plan, develop, implement, and manage nursing workforce strategies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide high-level advice and guidance to other Nursing Directors and executive team members on matters related to nursing practice and policy.
- A registered tertiary institution-qualified nurse with current registration and an annual practicing certificate is required.
- Possession of context-specific postgraduate qualification in nursing is highly desirable.
