About the Position:

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Bar Back at one of Australia's premier hotels. Located in Sydney, our venue is renowned for its luxurious atmosphere and exceptional service standards.

As a Bar Back, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by providing efficient and professional support to our bartenders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure, and have previous experience in a similar environment. You will also need to be familiar with classic and signature cocktails and demonstrate excellent presentation and grooming skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our high-end venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and professional support to bartenders during peak periods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, glassware, and other bar supplies.
  • Assist with stocktaking, ordering, and inventory management.
  • Develop knowledge of classic and signature cocktails to provide recommendations to customers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar environment, preferably in a high-end venue.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with classic and signature cocktails.
  • Excellent presentation and grooming skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
