**Aster Bar**

A beacon for true refined luxury, fine beverage and the ultimate international hotel bar experience. Our new signature Roof Top Bar, **Aster Bar**, located 32 levels above Sydney CBD with 70-degree views of Sydney Harbour, the Royal Botanic Garden, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, Aster Bar is the must-see luxe Bar destination with unparallel service.

**The Treasury**

Located on the ground floor, **The Treasury** is a grand reinvigoration of botanical history in the sundrenched heritage backdrop of the Intercontinental. An escapist drinking & dining retreat right in the beating heart of Sydney.

**Your day to day**
This role will require a polished, poised host who excels as the welcoming face of our premium luxury Bar venues.

You will greet and seat guests as they enter the venues,managing seating & booking allocations, providing menus and answering any questions.

Ensure that communication with the bar and kitchen teams is seamless, providing guests with a luxury experience.

Ability to manage phone enquiries, opentable platform and walk in guests.

This is a busy and varied role with connection to all departments across the bar venues and the wider Hotel.

**What we need from you**
- Experience as a Host preferably within in a premium venue
- You will have experience in liaising with high-profile clientele
- Experience in booking platforms and the reservations process desirable
- we use Open Table
- An attentive approach to guest engagement and ability to build rapport quickly
- Attention to detail at every level and ability to juggle competing priorities
- Immaculate presentation and grooming - we are a luxury venue
