Workplace Experience Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workplace Experience Specialist to play a key role in shaping the way we deliver exceptional workplace experiences. As the first point of contact for our Canberra office, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate client and visitor needs, provide prompt responses, and take initiative to troubleshoot problems and find solutions.
  • Work with the Workplace Lead to coordinate events and activations through cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
  • Provide assistance to staff, clients, and visitors with practical requirements such as security passes, Wi-Fi access, etc.
  • Continuously broaden the offering to improve client and employee experience.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, external clients, and vendors to develop and maintain strong relationships and model good experience delivery for the business.
  • Liaise with the NSW/ACT Workplace Team to manage H&S, Maintenance & Compliance activities locally in Canberra.
  • Support the Canberra Office lead with ad hoc administration to support the local team.
  • Lead the Social Committee with the planning and execution of events and activities.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future.
  • Proven experience in a people-centric, client or customer service-focused role.
  • Prior experience or training in the catering or event management industry (highly regarded but not essential).
  • The ability to quickly learn digital collaboration tools and new systems.
  • A basic understanding of AV, technology, and workplace software systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication.
  • Collaborative team player with the confidence to influence up, down, and across the organisation.
  • A personable and enthusiastic nature, with a genuine passion for providing an elevated service and creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.
  • A self-starter who is adaptable, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced, exciting, people-centric environment.
