We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician/Diesel Fitter based in Rutherford, servicing the NSW Newcastle/Hunter region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Respond to major mechanical component failures and escalations
  • Perform regular servicing, major component changes, and repairs in the depot and field
  • Carry out advanced troubleshooting of diesel engines
  • Implement field campaigns as required
  • Ensure timely completion of major repairs, to standard, and within agreed budgets

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter
  • Qualified Mechanic with Australian mechanic's license
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Forklift License and MR Truck License an advantage
  • Computer literate
