Heavy Vehicle Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Service Technician to join our team at Macktec Pty Ltd in the Hawkesbury region of NSW.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy vehicles as per repair order instructions, promoting customer satisfaction, and overseeing the work of any assigned apprentice technicians.
- This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $65,000-$90,000 PA.
- Located in NSW, with opportunities to work on a variety of heavy vehicle repairs.
- Perform tasks according to repair order instructions.
- Advise the workshop of any additional work required.
- Supervise and mentor apprentice technicians.
- Document all work performed, including cause and correction.
- Ensure customer vehicles are left in a satisfactory condition.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Participate in dealership and service department meetings.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- A Trade Certificate in Automotive Repair or related field.
- Drivers licenses equivalent to the role (car, light duty, truck, agriculture).
- Technical knowledge relevant to their qualification specifications.
- Customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
