Electrician Position Description

We are seeking an Electrician to join our facility maintenance team. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems in our facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical panels
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting electrical equipment
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure smooth operation of facilities

About the Role:

This is a permanent position working on a FIFO roster. You will have the opportunity to work independently, as well as part of a team, to maintain and repair electrical systems in our facilities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade qualification (e.g. electrician's license) and experience in a maintenance position
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
