Electrical Systems Coordinator Role

This is a challenging position that involves coordinating maintenance activities for electrical systems, conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards, developing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, and commissioning electrical systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities for electrical systems, ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective use of resources.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance and upkeep of electrical systems, including routine maintenance and repair programs.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to commission new electrical systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in electrical trade qualification, such as Electrical Fitter or Mechanic, with a minimum of five years of work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply problem-solving techniques to complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Act, Electrical Safety Act, Codes of Practice, Regulations Legislation, electrical rules, standards and statutory requirements.
