
Defence Vehicle Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fitter Armourer to join our team based at the Irwin Barracks in Karrakatta, WA.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on unique Defence vehicle and assets as part of our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team.
You will use your highly detailed workmanship to inspect, repair, and recondition military hardware, providing direct embedded support and teamwork with Defence and Defence training activities.
The role involves performing maintenance, servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on military hardware and Defence armaments, as well as safely operating machinery to repair, manufacture or modify required parts.

- Certification: Certify plant and equipment as serviceable and fit for purpose
We are looking for someone who is physically fit, enjoys hands-on work, and has a strong attention to detail. You will need to possess a Trade Certificate III Engineering Mechanical (Fitter & Turner) or Certificate III Engineering Mechanic (General Fitter), and hold a valid Australian Driver's License.
We offer a competitive hourly rate, plus superannuation, and provide all necessary tools, PPE, and uniforms. You will also receive relocation assistance if needed, and have access to on-site parking.
This is a full-time role, working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work additional hours as required. If you are passionate about working with Defence equipment and have a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you
