Environmental Planning Specialist for Defence Projects

Job Description

The Environmental Planning Specialist will work collaboratively with industry experts to conduct and coordinate environmental impact assessments and approvals on Defence projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with Management Teams to ensure that environmental concerns are appropriately addressed and managed throughout all stages of design development and project construction.
  • Project managing, developing bids, and building relationships with clients and stakeholders on a range of projects.
  • Coordinating and providing guidance to multidisciplinary teams, helping identify risks, resolve issues, and manage change through planning, design, and approval stages.
  • Supporting the continued growth of our business and promoting the development of environmental planning and approvals across the region.

 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of environmental planning principles and regulations in the Defence sector

Proven track record in project management, bid development, and stakeholder engagement

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work effectively in a team environment

Knowledge of environmental risk assessment and mitigation strategies

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
