Senior Transaction Advisory Services Specialist

As a key member of our Transaction Advisory Services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advising key stakeholders on transactions within the Macquarie Asset Management business. Your technical accounting expertise will be instrumental in advising on the accounting implications of transactions to their business, recognizing and communicating potential opportunities for more efficient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to advise on the accounting implications of transactions
- Utilize technical accounting expertise to advise on the impacts of new products, M&As, and other complex transactions
- Shape the impact of forthcoming accounting and regulatory updates by recommending changes
Requirements
- CA or CPA qualified
- Experience in a technical accounting role, advising on transactions, ideally with a focus on asset management, banking, or financial services
- Strong communicator, able to convey complex accounting issues to varying types of stakeholders
- Commercial mindset and strong problem-solving skills, able to translate technical accounting knowledge into commercially viable transaction structuring options
