Senior Manager, Transaction Advisory Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager or Manager to join our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team in Sydney or Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting all phases of financial due diligence on M&A transactions and Investigating Accountant engagements on stock exchange listings across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the performance of buy-side and sell-side due diligence on M&A transactions, IPO assignments, and other ad hoc advisory projects as required for corporate and private equity clients.
- Plan assignments, including identifying engagement risk and determining the appropriate strategy in conjunction with Managers and Partners.
- Review and interpret financial statements and other financial data.
- Prepare and review detailed financial analysis to illustrate key business drivers and performance indicators.
- Draft comprehensive and succinct due diligence reports, including executive summaries.
- Significant experience in an accounting/auditing environment, with exposure to transaction due diligence and a thorough understanding of preparing and interpreting financial statements.
- Fluent written and spoken communication skills, as well as excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
- Critical thinker with analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a high degree of commercial awareness and professional judgment.
- Well-developed organisational and project management skills, with the ability to adhere to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Strong IT literacy, including use of Microsoft Office suite (primarily Excel and PowerPoint).
- Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s).
