Securing the UK's Military Bases is a critical role within the Military Provost Guard Service. Our teams provide professional armed security services to meet the evolving threats and risks posed to military installations across the UK mainland.

The primary objective of our service is to counter terrorist threats and ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities. We achieve this through a combination of skilled personnel, advanced training, and robust procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective security strategies to mitigate potential threats
  • Manage site perimeters, including patrolling and securing areas of high vulnerability
  • Implement robust entry and exit controls, ensuring all visitors are processed efficiently and securely
  • Collaborate with other military units and agencies to share intelligence and best practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups

Requirements:

  • Background - Minimum 3 years prior military service or currently serving in any arm of the British Military, regular or reserves
  • Age - Must be over 18 years and under 57 years of age at re-enlistment
  • Fitness Eligibility - Must be medically fit and have a Body Mass Index below 32
  • Driving Licence - Must have a full UK driving licence with less than 8 penalty points
